Camp Academy, BEST WEEK EVER!

At the Academy schools we're so grateful for our families, children, communities, and essential service workers. We take pride in working together for the greater good whether it's recycling, distributing donations, encouraging diversity, and celebrating culture, while teaching the children how to grow, learn, and play! This has been an action packed week with special guest visits from Bruce Amato the Magician, Mother Goose, and Leo the Lion. They enjoyed an amazing foam party, educational nature walks, yoga, art and enrichment STEM activities, and Toddler 2 made homemade ice cream! It has been the best week ever, but there's still more to come! We can't wait to show you our Pre-K Prom and Graduation next week!

 

A Great Week of Food Exploration!

This week the children discussed the differences between healthy foods vs. unhealthy foods and had a great time tasting them too! They learned about math and science by measuring and mixing ingredients, and made some yummy snacks together as a class. Big shout out to Toddler 2, they made homemade bread and pizza, it was delicious! Pre-School 3 made healthy vegan sun butter oat banana raisin cookies and homemade lemonade! Way to go everyone that brought in fruit for Monday's friendship fruit salad. We can't wait to show you what we have in store for next week!

Kicking off Chopped Junior Week

We had fantastic parent participation for the beginning of our chopped junior week! There were so many types of fruits! They discussed the colors, textures, how they grow, and the taste. They had such great classroom friendship fruit salad parties! Thank you everyone for making it so tasty and fun!
