Spring Conference

The Academy schools place a huge priority on training and professionalism, which is why we love attending our Spring and Fall Teacher In-Service Conferences. This time our main topic concerned smooth transitions and dealing with positive redirection through music and making meaningful experiences that last children a lifetime.  We were thrilled to have Shaun Brown donate his life's works of songs to all of our schools for free! Check out some of his videos, our children love his music!

Successful Parent/Teacher Conferences

This week we conducted our Spring parent/teacher conferences and we appreciate all the participation from the families that signed up. It is important to share academic progress throughout the year as well as substantial information concerning all areas of social-emotional, physical and behavioral growth. It is a great opportunity for both the educators and parents to work together consistently for the betterment of the child.

Some areas of discussion will include your child's strengths, needs, behaviors, and learning styles. At the Academy schools our developmental checklists are based on the Frogstreet Curriculum which the children absolutely love. Check out these informational websites for more information on how our schools stand out from the rest! Have a great weekend!

Bring on Summer!

It's definitely getting hot so it was fitting to have a silly sunglasses day this week! We're so glad to have our families join us in fun celebrations such hot and fresh breakfast every morning, parent/teacher conferences, spring egg hunt, trunk or treat, pictures with Santa, and family picnics. Today we had another fabulous picnic outside, but this time it was for the grandparents! The children need structure and routine but it sure is fun to shake it up and eat outside! Have a great weekend and enjoy your outside time!

Teacher Appreciation Week!

This was the best Teacher Appreciation Week we've ever had, we were so grateful for all the participation from the parents. We had so many yummy snacks such as treats from Sonic, McDonald's breakfast, Fairview Doughnuts, crumble cookie, fresh fruit, Moe's nacho bar, and a homemade chicken dinner prepared by our very own Director, Mrs. Anne! We were showered with fancy bath and body works lotions, candles, gift cards, and pamper products!

Every day we got to play a fun card game and at the end of the week we had 4 big winners! Great job Mrs. Crystal, Ms. Ella, Mrs. Chantel, and Mrs. Ashlee! To end the week the children all made special gifts for the mother's! Thank you so much families for your support and love, it was "hands down" the best week we've had! Have a wonderful Mother's Day weekend!
