Graduation & Prom!!

Prom and Graduation 2022 was a huge success! This year's Prom and Graduation was a Glow theme with, music, food, photo booth, and dancing ! I think the teachers and parents had just as much fun as the children!

Grow- A close relationship between the child and the caregiver is the best way to nourish the child's growing brain. When a caregiver plays with and sings, speaks, reads, or tells a story to the child and nurtures her or him with healthy food love and affection the child's brain grows. Being healthy, interacting with caregivers and living in a safe and clean environment can make a big difference in a child's growth, development and future potential.

Learn- Importance of early childhood development. The emotional, social and physical development of young children has a direct effect on the overall development and on the adult they will become.  That is why understanding the need to invest in very young children is so important, so as to maximize their future well-being.

Play-  Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.

Chopped Junior!

This week the children discussed the differences between healthy foods vs. unhealthy foods and had a great time tasting them too! They learned about math and science by measuring and mixing ingredients, and made some yummy snacks together as a class. Big shout out to Mrs. Gulestan, she help each class make either brownies or pudding!  They had a blast mixing their own ingredients. Way to go everyone who brought in pies for our yearly pie contest. We can't wait to show you what we have in store for next week!

Happy Birthday America!!

We have had so much fun celebrating America and learning about our American heritage. The children have learned about flag symbolism, what the stars and stripes represent and the colors and what they mean. We enjoy teaching the kids about our nations heroes, what freedom and independence means. They learned about the eagle and why it's protected, and really loved making cute firework and flag artwork. AoHV showed proud patriotism. We hope you have a safe holiday, be vigilant with your children around the water, wear lots of sunscreen and be careful with the sparklers. Happy 4th!
