This week @ AOHV our theme was "Let's Build." We all had a blast using our imaginations to come up with creative things for the children to experience. Our teachers worked in groups of two to create things out of boxes. The ideas are so amazing and we are so proud of all our educators.
Here at The Academy of Harpeth Village our theme for our prom this year was "Let's Get Soaked". The children loved this fun water day prom. It was filled with lots of friends and family. The children got to enjoy a huge water slide,a foam party,water squirters,water squash balls, and the list goes on. They also enjoyed lunch and finished it off with some delicious graduation cake.
Here at The Academy we strive to get our children ready for Kindergarten. During the summer months we concentrate on kindergarten readiness skills such as handwriting,pre-literacy,and self help skills. These skills help our children enter kindergarten as confident young children that are excited and ready to learn . In addition this year we have multiple children that graduated that have been here since they were young babies. We also have multiple families that have been with us for 9 to ten years that have children that graduated. They are family to us and they were certainly be missed greatly.
