We had a blast in PS One today! We used our sensory buckets to wash our babies and other toys. We had a blast with water play today!

TASK Projects

Our TASK (The Academy School-Age Kids) kids have been busy with many projects lately.  After they walk over from school, they are learning some table manners and etiquette while enjoying afternoon snack.  

Here, Parents Magazine shared 25 manners that every child should learn by age 9.

Last week, a special guest came in to help TASK with their bird project.  After cutting out the pieces and using oil pastels, the class will then display their art on a tree branch for everyone to see.  They loved using the oil pastels with how much brighter the colors are than markers and crayons.  Here are some similar projects that could be done at home!

Preschool Artists

Our Preschool 4 class at AoHV had such a fun time with our new enrichment art class that started this week.  Together with Miss Sharon's help, they made a mural that turned out great!

Reindeer Station!

Last week, AoHV set up a Reindeer Food Station in the enrichment room. Children and parents were encouraged to stop by and make a goody bag for Santa's reindeer because we have to remember that they are  working hard on Christmas Eve!
