Water Sensory Play!

Sensory bins are hands-on tools for children of all ages to explore the world through their 5 senses (touch, sight, sounds, taste, and smell) for children to learn and explore. Sensory play may calm, focus, and engage a child plus it's fun to experiment with different ideas! Some benefits of sensory bins are sensory exploration, incorporation of a variety of senses, and social and emotional development concerning interactions with peers. Our children had so much fun playing in the water bins today with buckets, trucks, dinosaurs, and shovels! We can't wait to see the moon sand sensory bins next week for Astronaut week!

Summer of STEM!

 We LOVE our Pre-Scholar enrichment teacher, Mrs. Sharon! During the Summer months she works with the kids with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. They love doing the experiments and working together to achieve their learning goals. 1st WATER PLAY!

 What a blast today! The children had so much fun playing with all the summer outside toys and enjoying getting wet! It was a perfect day to be out in the weather!  We love our children and safety is our #1 concern, below is an awesome water safety article with great tips that all parents should read! It's been a great 1st week of summer so far! We can't wait for the 1st water play day tomorrow! We have the dirt sensory bins, sand boxes, water tables, splash pads and sprinklers ready for action! Stay tuned for more fun summer portraits!
