Happy Chinese New Year!

 Here at the Academy we love to learn about all different types of cultures like; Chinese New Year! Last week was all about Chinese New Year, we started the week off with paper Chinese dragons, a Chinese sensory bin, paper lanterns and so much more. Our Toddler 2 friends were so proud of the lanterns they made, they even tried to throw them in the air and pretend to watch them float away! Learning about all types of cultures is so important for growing minds, it shows children that not everyone comes from the same background or even have the same experiences, but that everyone is special and different in their own ways! Here at AOHV we love learning and providing experiences for children to be able to explore different cultures and see how fun and interesting the world can be! 

Happy Valentines Day AOHV

What better way to spread love and joy all through the school ; like Valentines Day! How we celebrated Valentines day here at AOHV was by card exchanges with friends, V-day parties with our friends and families and all the hugs and love! We also gave our teachers little sweetheart bags for always having such caring hearts and loving these children so much! We couldn't be more thankful for all the staff and families we have here at AOHV! We loved being able to create these special moments for all our kids here and show these families how much love we have for them! Happy Valentines Day! 

On Wednesdays We Wear Pink!

 

On Wednesdays we wear PINK for the month of love, friendship, kindness and so much more! During all of the months we love to do dress up days, especially February! We asked our school to wear pink and valentines colors and they did not disappoint. Our school loves to be able to have fun days like this that help make the preschool memories last forever! During this month we fill the days with Valentines crafts, parties, friendship cards and all the fun! 

Woot Woot Wednesday

 Here at AOHV we love our teachers and we love to show appreciation to them by many ways, but one of them is called "Woot Woot Wednesday"! Woot Woot Wednesday ranges from a special treat all the way to catered lunch! A teacher favorite is "Oatmeal Bar" day, our amazing management team sets up an oatmeal bar with all kinds of toppings that we know our teachers love! Its a great way to kick start their morning and put a smile on their faces! We love every single teacher here and all that they do each and every day for our school. They have so much love and dedication and we want them to know how much they mean to us. At the Academy of Harpeth Village we wouldn't be us without our teachers and support staff, they make us, us! Our teachers and support staff are out core and we are proud to let others know how much they mean to us!
