This past Friday, the ambulance from HCA Tri-Star Mobile Medicine came to visit us @ AoHv. The kids got to tour the ambulance and learn all about paramedics. Preschoolers should learn about Paramedics, EMTs, because they are part of the caring process that helps people when they are sick and need help.
Some of the reasons why it is important for Preschoolers to learn about emergency personnel is:
Understand what to do in an emergency
Recognize the signs
Be comfortable with Paramedics and EMTs
Learn about the roles of Paramedics and EMTs
Role model healthy behaviors
