This week was Outta This World!

We had a fun week playing with moon sand, water, bubbles, learning about the planets, sun, stars, air, gravity, and what things sink or float! The children love to learn especially when they make fun arts and crafts! We hope you get to enjoy this weeks full moon and all the little lightning bugs that look like stars! Sensory With Mud!

What a fabulous gardening week we had! Moore and Moore came to visit this week, the children planted their own flowers, we explored our senses using mud, and of course we all love a fun water day! Benefits of Gardening!

 Today at the Academy we got to explore with "Moore and Moore" the professionals of gardening.  Gardening offers so many fun and interesting opportunities for children, and teaches them invaluable lessons. It also offers an opportunity to learn shapes, colors, smells, taste, touch, and explore different types of animals that eat plants as well. Some great benefits of gardening with children would be: Sensory development, encourages healthy eating habits, teaches responsibility and patience, helps with educational topics, and helps social skills. 

Summer Time is Here!

😄It was the best Friday ever at AoHV! We started off with our first sand and water play day and ended with some yummy Kona Ice! We can't wait for the Magic Show next Monday and Mud Day on Friday!
