Part of our classroom expectations includes using conscious discipline. There is a lot involved with this way of teaching including, using daily commitments instead of classroom rules. Studies have shown children learn better by being taught using positive reinforcement versus negative. Having compliments versus punishments. At AoHV one of the daily commitments is "Helping Hands".
