Kindergarten Boot Camp in Full Swing!

 Our children are navigating Kindergarten Boot Camp with ease! We're so proud of their accomplishments so far with writing their letters, staying in routine, having structure for morning meetings, and learning about cafeteria etiquette. The children voice their favorite moments including helping each other and exceeding expectations for Developmentally Appropriate Practices for their age. When they leave our school they are ready to take on the new challenges of elementary school with confidence. We can't believe in less than a month they will graduate! Water Sensory Play!

Sensory bins are hands-on tools for children of all ages to explore the world through their 5 senses (touch, sight, sounds, taste, and smell) for children to learn and explore. Sensory play may calm, focus, and engage a child plus it's fun to experiment with different ideas! Some benefits of sensory bins are sensory exploration, incorporation of a variety of senses, and social and emotional development concerning interactions with peers. Our children had so much fun playing in the water bins today with buckets, trucks, dinosaurs, and shovels! We can't wait to see the moon sand sensory bins next week for Astronaut week!

Summer of STEM!

 We LOVE our Pre-Scholar enrichment teacher, Mrs. Sharon! During the Summer months she works with the kids with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. They love doing the experiments and working together to achieve their learning goals. 1st WATER PLAY!

 What a blast today! The children had so much fun playing with all the summer outside toys and enjoying getting wet! It was a perfect day to be out in the weather!  We love our children and safety is our #1 concern, below is an awesome water safety article with great tips that all parents should read!
