Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and so did the children of AoHV! We're not thrilled for 6 more weeks of Winter but at least it was nice enough to go outside a few days last week! They enjoyed reading books about groundhogs and what they like to eat, coloring outlines of shadows, and looking at pictures of real groundhogs. The children made shadow puppets and explored the Science of light in their classrooms and outside. Welcome February, we can't wait for Valentine's Day!
