Cooking Up Great Memories!

This week was cooking week at the Academy of Harpeth Village! The children had a blast building their understanding of math and science through the art of cooking! Our Toddler 2 class had a great time making, cookies, bread, and pizza! The parents had a blast sampling all the delicious goodies made by the children! 

Academy Dinner Theater!

It's better to learn by example, always be positive when offering food and show children how much you like a food  when you're asking them to eat it. Also by getting exposure by looking at the food, listening to educators talk about eating foods, helping prepare the food, feeling the food, or reading a good book about the food they're trying is very important. Our health and wellness coordinator takes the time to educate our children about trying new things and being healthy.

Imagination!

This week is imagination week at the Academy of Harpeth Village! Today our Preschool 4 class had a special dress up day! All the friends came dressed up as what they wanted to be when they grew up! We had a doctor, a super hero mailman, and a lot of princesses! They had a blast imagining what they'll be when they grow up!
