Fall is for your Family! This month we are learning about what makes a family! When children gain an understanding of diverse family structures, they are provided with rich opportunities to help them celebrate family diversity and engage them in conversations about who is in their family, who lives in their house, and most importantly who takes care of them. The make up of a family structure does not matter because they are all beautiful and wonderful! Our Pre-k students had the opportunity to create a family tree! They loved being able to explore the different types of families in their classroom and beyond!
