Christmas fun Days!!

We had so much fun with Santa!  He listened to all our lists and knew us all! Our Pre-K 1 class had a program. Very many parents and grand parents came to watch them. They sang a few songs and were so sweet.  The children are really excited and raring to go.

We are flying high with our pilot from the sky!

We were so lucky to have a real pilot come in to talk about flying high in the sky! Last week we were talking about airplanes and trains, so who better to come visit us! He talked about the parts of the plane and plane safety! As always we really enjoyed our special guest! 

Hanukkah

We are learning about Hanukkah today!  Mrs. Sparks came and sang songs and taught us all. She was very informative.  The children enjoyed it very much!

Christmas joy!

We are really feeling the Christmas spirit here at AOHV! All the kids are dressed to the 9s in there Christmas outfits! It is so great to see everyone spreading Christmas cheer! 

Holiday Magic Show!

Mr. Bruce showed his true magic tricks with a holiday twist! The children loved it, and so did the teachers! We saw a rabbit, Santa, and many fun tricks. We always have such a great time when Mr. Bruce comes to put on a show!

Today we had the author of Naughty Nelly; Celeste Beyer to come in and read her great book to the kids! The kids really enjoyed listening to the book, and hearing all about Nelly's naughty adventures!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving! We are truly thankful for all of our families. We had such a wonderful time last Friday at our Thanksgiving lunch. It was so great to see so many families come out and enjoy some good food, and even better company. A huge thank you to the Hines family for some amazing Milo's tea. Here at AOHV we are so thankful for our amazing families, kids, and staff! We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! 

Nurse Kristen comes to visit!

We had such a great time with nurse Kristen this past week! She came in to talk to us about how to be heathy! We talked about eating right, washing our hands, and how nurses and doctors help us stay healthy! We also talked about if we ever had to have surgery how not to be scared. We tried on some of the things they wear in the OR! We also listened to our hearts! What a fun day!
