Reindeer Station!

Last week, AoHV set up a Reindeer Food Station in the enrichment room. Children and parents were encouraged to stop by and make a goody bag for Santa's reindeer because we have to remember that they are  working hard on Christmas Eve!

Light and Dark Fun!

Preschool 1 had a blast exploring light and dark!

The Pre K Classes made Ice Cream

The Pre K classes learned how to make their own ice cream last Friday. They shook up their ingredients in bags of ice and salt. After the cream turned into ice cream they enjoyed a yummy afternoon snack with sprinkles and all!

AOHV Thanksgiving Lunch!

Friday was our Thanksgiving Lunch here at AoHV! We had a great turnout and everyone enjoyed all the yummy food we had! Our menu included Turkey and gravy, stuffing, potatoes, rolls, green beans, apple pie, and pumpkin pie!

Toddler One is Growing Up!

Toddler One is starting to transition to Big Kid tables from High chairs! They enjoyed their Scooby Doo Snack yesterday here at AoHV

Safety Month at AoHV

The West Precinct Police Department came to our school to hand out fingerprinting kits and teach the students about safety!

 

They were allowed to get in the Police Van and try to escape!

They Loved trying on all the Police gear!

Parents were able to ask questions regarding their family's safety!

Painting with smelly paint!

Ms. Julie and Ms. Maureen's Preschool 4 Class experimented "Smelly Paint".  They used paint that was infused with Peppermint oil, Lemon Extract, Coconut Oil, and Orange Extract! Their room had a great aroma all day! Plus, the children had so much fun picking out their favorite "Smell"!

AOHV Monkey Joe's Family Night

Our AOHV families enjoyed a great night out at Monkey Joes! The children enjoyed a night full of fun and games, and the parents were able to sit back and mingle with other parents at the school. THe night was topped off with pizza and cake!
