Happy St. Pattys Day!

 

Happy St. Patrick's Day from AOHV! We had so much fun celebrating this holiday at our school! From wearing green, our classroom activities/crafts and even green colored snacks! We made silly leprechaun crafts, and many of our classrooms even went on leprechaun hunts with their traps to catch him! Our teachers made this day so fun and created many lasting memories for all the kiddos! We read stories, sang songs, danced with our friends! At pickup our kiddos left with a delicious shamrock shake to end the school day with! It was a happy, giggly day full of crafts, games and even a little bit of magic!

We're Feeling Lucky

This week at AOHV we created many lucky crafts for St. Patrick's Day! Doing these fun themed crafts with preschoolers is always full of excitement, creativity, and lots of giggles! Our kiddos loved using different shades of green, gold, glitter and the colors of the rainbow to make shamrocks, leprechaun art and rainbows! As they cut, glue, and decorate they all let their imaginations run wild! We love when our rooms fill up with laughter, sticky hands, and proud smiles as each child shows off their unique creations! 

Read Across America Week!

During this week we celebrated “Read Across America Week” in honor of the amazing author Dr. Seuss! To honor his wonderful, silly books we had Dr. Seuss spirit week! 

Monday was Twin day for Thing 1 and Thing 2 in "The Cat in the Hat"! Tuesday was Terrific Top Hat day for The Cat in the Hat and his fabulous top hat! Wednesday was Wacky Wednesday for the book and all the fun it shows us to have! Thursday was Theodore day and dress up as your favorite character! Finally Friday was fun sock day for “Fox in Socks”! We loved being able to have this kind of fun with our kiddos and inspire them to read and embrace the silly!
