Graduation is here!!! The Pre K 2 class is ready for Kindergarten. During Kindergarten Bootcamp our campers learned skills to help them get ready for their new adventures in school. We are so proud of them and all their accomplishments. Congratulations to the Class of 2024!!
Our theme was Let's Build last week. We enjoyed building with cardboard boxes and more. Every class came up with cool ideas and used their imaginations to bring it to life. Building with blocks can help children improve many skills such as gross and fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, hand -eye coordination, problem solving and math and science skills.
This past week here @The Academy of Harpeth Village we went Under the Sea. We started our week out with ocean themed sensory boxes. Then we enjoyed Mother Goose teaching us about the ocean and sea creatures. After that we read Clark the Shark and did activities to help us retell the story. Then we finished our week off with Water Day and a Finding Nemo Scavenger Hunt.
