Picnic Time!!!

     This past Friday we had our annual spring  picnic. Our families enjoyed a delicious lunch out on the playground yards. Everyone enjoyed having lunch with their parents/ grandparents. It was a very special time for all. 

Having Fun with Art!!!

 Here @ The Academy we love to do art with the children. It is so fun to sit and watch children draw and create. When children are doodling quietly or talking with their friends that they are learning more then just drawing a house or their favorite place. The process of creating art has the myriad benefits. It helps children develop their attention span and is laying the foundation to important life skills.

 We love outside play here @ The Academy. Everyone looks forward to this time of the day everyday. The benefits of outside play for children are crucial for their early years development. Outside play is the best support for children's emotional needs, social, physical developments, problem solving, and ways to acquire communicating and language skills. It also helps them understand their bodies better and engage in imaginative play.
