Preschool 3 is working hard on their science experiment with caterpillars and watching them turn into little butterflies. They started out with 5 baby caterpillars that they feed nutritious food to help them grow. They have a collapsible mesh habitat and a holding log where the caterpillars can turn into chrysalids. This experiment helps teach the children sequencing practice, life cycle learning, and fun coloring activates.

The kids in PreK 2 had so much fun making butter wit5h their friends and teachers. Making butter in a jar is always a super easy activity to do with a theme of farm animals. Not only is making butter a memorable experience for the kids, but it's also a great way to do a science experiment with the kids.

Today is Wacky Tacky Wednesday here @ AOHV. We are having to much fun with this. From our littles to our teachers everyone had great ideas and loved sharing this with their friends. We even enjoyed reading Wacky Wednesday to incorporate some learning with this fun activity.
We have celebrated an amazing children's author all week Theodor Seuss "Ted" Geisel or Dr. Suess! He was an American children's author, political cartoonist, illustrator, poet, animator, and filmmaker. He is known for his work writing and illustrating more than 60 books under the pen name Dr. Suess. On his birthday we say thank you Dr. Suess for all your wacky, tacky zaney, and colorful stories! Check out some of the fun activites we've been doing this week.
