November is the month that we teach children what being "Thankful" really means and especially to them. Practicing gratitude sets children up to be more sensitive and empathic to others and less depending of and entitled over all. It can also significantly improve their mental and emotional well-being . It will help enhance their relationships, reducing stress, and promoting happiness, making them more resilient.

Model saying "thank you" to others and encourage children to follow suit
Writing thank you cards for people doing something nice for you
set up appreciation mailboxes
adding the vocabulary words to your everyday use in the classroom and at home
