Puppet Truck Visits!!!

 Monday the Puppet Truck from the Nashville Library visited our school. It's always a special treat to have them visit us. The story was The Sky Bear by Lucy West. Mad Scientists!!!

This past week here @ AOHV we had a blast pretending to be little scientists!!! We started the week off with having story time with the Nashville Library and Ms. Marie. Tuesday we made volcanos and on Wednesday we enjoy teacher lead experiences. Then we finished our week off with getting our classroom eggs ready for the famous egg drop. Science experiments are stimulating ,hands-on, and  sensory rich for discovery and exploration! 

                                   

Just Imagine!!!

 This week at the Academy of Harpeth Village our theme was "Just Imagine". We started the week off with a magic show with Mr.Bruce, On Tuesday everyone dressed up in their favorite superhero costume. Wednesday we spruced up our dramatic play centers and to finish the rest of the week  we drew our favorite animals.

Wild Things!!!

 This week was about the "Wild Things." We had fun getting creative with this theme. We explored with safari animals and pretended we were at a zoo. The children loved singing songs about the jungle and they especially loved the song "Going to the Jungle". On Wednesday everyone wore there favorite animal print to school. Then we finished our week out with reading "Where The Wild Things Are" and drawing our favorite animals.
