Working Together in Groups

It's important to teach children at an early age to work together to positively socialize, solve problems, gain confidence in the preschool setting, regulate emotions and learn to develop independent instructional methods. Our educators work hard to create fun and engaging activities to bring the children together as a team. Even the smallest friends learn by watching their teacher and peer  interactions, to communicate and demonstrate their thoughts, which enriches their social skills throughout their lifetime. A Week of Magic!

It was another fun and successful week of  playful learning at AoHV! This week our theme was the magic of the Irish culture. We celebrated with a lot of fun activities including making hats, learning about rainbows, counting shamrocks, having a magically delicious snack, dress up days, digging for shamrocks and having a super fun magic show with the amazing and famous Mr. Bruce Amato! We ended our week with a educational visit from Ms. Marie with the Nashville Public Library! We hope you have a safe and magical spring weekend!

Dr. Seuss Week!

 What a fantastic week we had celebrating Dr. Theodor Seuss Geisel! The children enjoyed lots of activities to honor this great American poet, illustrator, animator, filmmaker, political cartoonist and children's author. Check out these colorful pictures from our week full of fun!

Rock Stars!

We're so grateful for our school family of children, educators, and especially our rock star parents for supporting us through transitions, holidays, teacher appreciation week, parent involved activities, donation events and conferences. Yesterday, our parents got together and provided us with an amazing lunch from Chicken Salad Chick. They got us a cake and a photo booth with fun props! We are so happy to be a part of such an awesome community. Our special visit today went wonderfully!

Spring Time Air!

The children have absolutely loved the spring weather this week! They have been digging in the dirt, having fun picnics, blowing bubbles, looking at birds, listening to the wind blow, and feeling the sunshine! Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for sharing your sweeties with us!
