All month here at The Academy of Harpeth Village, we are enjoying celebrating the holidays. We have made crafts, had a fun magic show, a puppet show, made some special art for our friends at NHC, Santa came to visit us, and Mr.Grinch came. The list just keeps on growing and we've been having a blast everyday. We ended the Holiday week with the Polar Express and golden tickets for the children.
Every year here at AOHV the kids love hearing the story " How the Grinch Stole Christmas",by Dr.Seuss. The story teaches the children about kindness. It's amazing to hear them to re-tell the story. The Grinch came to visit the children and some of them loved him and some of them not so much. All in all it was a great time had by all.
Here at AOHV we always have a blast with Santa. The children love seeing Santa and giving him high fives. The smiles and wish lists are so sweet to see. We love the Christmas spirit that's filling our building. Every year it gets more and more special.
What a great way to start the week off here at AOHV. We had our favorite Mr.Bruce come today. He is always fun and entertaining for the kids. They love his shows and he always has something new for them. He is able to connect with the kids and teach them important skills through his magic shows. Today's theme was "Merry Christmas". It was a great way to start the holiday season.
Here at AOHV, We are so "Thankful" for all of our parents. We couldn't do what we love to do without them. The support that they give us is phenomenal and they always go above and beyond for our school. We feel it's important to do the"little extras" for them. So to our parents we say "Thank You" for ALL YOU DO. Wednesday, we had a staff lunch, kids' lunch, and pajama day. It was a great way to end a fun week here at AOHV. Our staff was able to enjoy a delicious Thanksgiving lunch with all the fixins. A big shout out goes to Mrs.Pam and Mrs.Gulestan! You guys did a great job on the staff and kids' lunch and we are so "Thankful" for you.
