At AoHV we are always looking for creative ways to stimulate your children's minds through physical, social, cognitive, verbal & emotional development. In PS3 the children got to help make sensory bottles filled with sprinkles, confetti, wooden sticks, straws, beads, beans, rice colored with food coloring, & magnetic pipe cleaners. They worked together to use their fine motor skills to fill bottles that will later be used as shaker toys to hear different sounds and as sort and exploration toys in the science center. Great job teachers in including the children in the handmade projects for the class.

We Love Our Parents!
We had the most wonderful Valentine themed country style breakfast this morning for our families & children. We had a drawing for a Loveless gift basket valued at $100, congratulations to the Newhouse family for the win! The breakfast included country ham, white gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, freshly cut fruit with biscuits and preserves from the Loveless Cafe. We thank all of our families for coming and being a part of such a great school and community.

Snow Babies!
Last week all of our children enjoyed watching the snow melt outside of their classrooms. The children in Infant 2 explored the snow through using their senses of touch, smell and sight. They mashed the snow in the palms of their hands and made a tiny snowman for the classroom. They even found a little ladybug and explored watching it crawl around on Mrs. Tonya's Hands. Exploration of our world comes at an early age at AOHV!
