Pre-K 2 Prom!

Our pre-k 2 class had an awesome time at their prom which was a western/hoedown theme. We had a mule/wagon ride that took them around to see their new school, where they will attend kindergarten. The teachers, parents, and children had a blast! They ended the night showing off their western/hoedown dancing skills. The children danced a square dance with partners, line danced
and ended their performance dancing with their parents.  What a fabulous way to wrap up a fun filled school year and kick off Kindergarten Boot Camp.

MUD DAY!

When engaged in sensory play children use all their senses. As children pour, dump, scoop, and explore they are learning about spatial concepts (full, empty). It's not just about making a mess and getting dirty; it is an essential component to learning that encourages exploration and discovery through play. They had a blast!
